In 1947, high school science teacher Maurice King created a solution that would forever change the face of professional disinfection: BARBICIDE®. The brand’s unmistakable blue hue became a staple in salons and barbershops across the globe, earning a place in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. Originally family-owned and now headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, King Research continues to honor its roots while leading the future of infection control.
