Disinfect Tools & Surfaces:

  • Hold the can 6-8 inches away and spray hard, non-porous surfaces.
  • Allow the surface to remain wet for 10 minutes then let air dry.
  • For Human Coronavirus, allow the surface to remain wet for 30 seconds and then let air dry.

What is “contact time” and why is this important?

Contact time refers to the amount of time a surface or implement must remain wet with disinfectant to effectively kill the pathogens (bacteria, viruses, fungi) specified on the label.

For BARBICIDE® RTU the required contact time is 10 minutes of wet contact.
