Use to disinfect all hard, non-porous surfaces including metals, stainless steel, plastics, combs, brushes, rollers and shears.

Prepare the Solution:
Mix 1 ounce of BARBICIDE® TB with 1 Gallon of water in the designated container.

Disinfect Tools & Surfaces:

  • Submerge non-porous tools for 10 minutes.
  • Wipe or spray on surfaces, ensuring they remain wet for 10 minutes.
  • After disinfection, rinse tools with water and store them in a clean, dry area.

Frequency: Prepare a fresh solution daily.

What is “contact time” and why is this important?

Contact time refers to the amount of time a surface or implement must remain wet with disinfectant to effectively kill the pathogens (bacteria, viruses, fungi) specified on the label.

For BARBICIDE® TB the required contact time is 10 minutes of wet contact.

My state requires the use of a Tuberculocidal disinfectant; which BARBICIDE® product should I use?

BARBICIDE® TB should only be used in states requiring a Tuberculocidal disinfectant. It is important to make sure this is a requirement of your state before selecting the BARBICIDE® TB product (otherwise BARBICIDE® should be used). What is the difference between BARBICIDE® Plus and BARBICIDE® TB?

BARBICIDE® Plus was our original tuberculocidal disinfectant and has now been replaced by BARBICIDE TB®.

Tuberculocidal disinfectant products should only be used in states where they are required by board rules. It is important to make sure this is a requirement of your state before selecting the BARBICIDE® TB product (otherwise BARBICIDE® should be used). My BARBICIDE® TB is cloudy; have I done something wrong?

If you have mixed your BARBICIDE® TB concentrate correctly and it has been changed daily, the cloudiness is normal. This cloudy appearance is normal for BARBICIDE® TB in certain types of water.
