Disinfect Tools & Surfaces:

  • Remove a wipe from the container and close the lid to prevent drying.
  • Wipe down hard, non-porous surfaces ensuring even coverage.
  • Allow the surface to remain wet for 2 minutes.
  • Discard the used wipe and allow the surface to air dry.

What is “contact time” and why is this important?

Contact time refers to the amount of time a surface or implement must remain wet with disinfectant to effectively kill the pathogens (bacteria, viruses, fungi) specified on the label.

For BARBICIDE® the required contact time is 10 minutes of wet contact.

Will BARBICIDE® damage my plastic combs/brushes or fine metal shears?

BARBICIDE® will not damage plastics or metals; however, leaving items submerged for extended periods is not advisable.
